RESOLUTION N0. 5648 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Finance to pay the <br /> cost of memberships of municipal employees and/or Departments and Divisions <br /> in certain associations for the. year 19$2. and declaring such memberships <br /> to be in the public interest. <br /> WHEREAS., memberships of municipal employees in organizations designed to <br /> enhance the. operation of municipal departments by the exchange of ideas, <br /> information and experience to the public benefit, and <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br /> the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health. and <br /> safety and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now,. <br /> therefore: <br /> BE IT RESOL~JED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO; <br /> Section 1.
