Wendling <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor ex-officio Director of <br /> Public Safety to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of eight <br /> motor vehicles for the Department of Public Safety. <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that it <br /> provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and welfare and <br /> for the usual daily operation of a municipal department.;. now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the. Mayor ex-officio Director of Public Safety 6e <br /> and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts <br /> for the purchase of eight Police Department vehicles and for the stale or <br /> trade-in of Police Department vehicles, with the lowest and best bidder or <br /> bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> Section 2.
