RESOLUTION N0. 5681 gy: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, Salmon, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION confirming the order of the Board of Building Standards <br /> dated May 10, 1982, relative to property located at 1329 Hall Avenue, Lakewood, <br /> Ohio (Permanent Parcel No. 311-30-102) and notifying the property owner of the <br /> action to be taken by this municipality if compliance is not accomplished. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the decision of the Board of Building Standards dated <br /> May 10, 1982, relative to the property located at 1329 Ha17 Avenue, Lakewood, <br /> Ohio (Permanent Parcel No. 311-30-102) which. reads as follows: <br /> The Board of Building Standards determined the structure <br /> located at 1329 Hall Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio to be an unsafe/ <br /> public nuisance structure pursuant to the standards as set forth <br /> in Section 1305.521 of the Housing Code. The Board further finds <br /> that the property owner has failed to comply with a notice and <br /> order from the Building Department to repair the structure, as <br /> set forth in Mr. Paul Jindra's communication dated February 4, 1982 <br /> (_d part of the evidence before the Board, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto). <br /> The Board hereby orders the property owner, Mr. Joseph Weber, to <br /> repair or raze the structure forthwith for reasons gas explairied,.ir~ the <br /> the minutes of the meeting. Acceptable evidence of the commencement <br /> of repairs or demolition shall be the obtaining of the required permits <br /> from the City of Lakewood Building Department. <br /> Section 2. That by receipt of this Resolution, the property owner, Mr. <br /> Joseph Weber, is hereby notified to comply with the decision and order of <br /> the Board of Building Standards as confirmed by this Council. The property <br /> owner, Mr. Joseph. Weber is further notified by receipt of this Resolution <br /> that if he fails, neglects or refuses within forty-five (45) days from the <br /> date of service of this Resolution to comply with the decision and order of the <br /> Board as confirmed by Council, the Building Commissioner is hereby authorized <br /> and directed to advertise for bids and to enter into a contract or contracts <br /> with. the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to <br /> law for the repair or demolition of said structure, and the City acting through <br /> the Building Commissioner, shall cause said structure to be repaired or demolished <br /> in accordance with the decision and order of the Board as confirmed by City Council. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of this Council is hereby authorized and directed <br /> to serve a certified copy of this Resolution. to Mr. Joseph Weber in accordance <br /> <br /> with the. provisipns of Section 1305.521 (d) of the Housing Code of the Codified <br /> Ordinances~of ~fhe ~Ci~ty of Lakewood.
