RESOLUTION N0. 5705 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Lawrence M. Cummings for his public service as <br /> a Firefighter of the City of Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective July 16, 1982, Firefighter <br /> Lawrence M. Cummings completed ~2 years and 5 months of public service as a <br /> firefighter of the City of Lakewood, and <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Fire Department, Fire- <br /> fighter Lawrence M. Cummings was recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee <br /> <br /> who rendered outstanding service not only to the Department of Public Safety but <br /> to the entire community as well, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by <br /> Firefighter Lawrence M. Cummings be given public cognizance and recognition; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends to <br /> Firefighter Lawrence M. Cummings its appreciation and that of all of the <br /> citizens of this community for his ~ years and 5 months of public service as a <br /> firefighter of the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council wishes him <br /> continued years of health, happiness, and propserity in his retirement. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br /> and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Firefighter <br /> Lawrence M.
