Gordon for his public service as a <br /> School Traffic Guard in the Division of Police, Department of Public Safety of <br /> the City of Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective December 21, 1982, Harry D. <br /> Gordon completed 11~ years of public service as a School Traffic Guard in the <br /> Division of Police, Department of Public Safety of the City, and <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure as a School Traffic Guard, Mr. Gordon was <br /> notogonl y d to s the 1Department dodf1 Pub ai cemSafety, wbut r tod the ent re ndcommun ty ~ as <br /> well, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by <br /> Harry D. Gordon be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends to Harry <br /> D. Gordon its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for <br /> his llz years of public service as a School Traffic Guard in the Division of <br /> Police, Department of Public Safety and further that this Council wishes him <br /> continued years of health, happiness, and prosperity in his retirement. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br /> and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Harry 6.
