Haas, former <br /> United States Embassy political officer. <br /> WHEREAS, it is with deep regret that this Council and the Administra- <br /> tion of the City of Lakewood has learned that Kenneth E. Haas was killed in t e <br /> in Beirut, Lebanon, on April 18, <br /> cowardly bombing of the United States Embassy <br /> 1883, and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Naas, a political officer at the United States Embassy ~n <br /> Beirut> is the son of Lakewood residents Mr. and Mrs. Gene Haas, and of Lakewood <br /> WHEREAS, this Council and the Administration of the City <br /> of this dedicated foreigeaceetolthe Middle East <br /> desire to honor the memory <br /> sacrificed his life in our country's efforts to bring p <br /> should not go unnoticed by the residents of our community; now <br /> and whose passing <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHI <br /> That Lakewood City Council and the tomhisswife~,oAlison, <br /> Section 1.
