RESOLUTION N0. 5826-84 BY:Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling A RESOLUTION to commend William M. Hegarty, M.D. for his public service as a member of the Board of Trustees of Lakewood Hospital. WHEREAS, Dr. William M. Hegarty, a member of the Lakewood Hospital Med- ical staff since 1953, was appointed a Trustee of Lakewood Hospital on February 4, 1980, and served continually in that capacity until the expiration of his term on December 31, 1983, and WHEREAS, as a Hospital Trustee, Dr. Hegarty was active on the Building Committee, the Joint Conference Committee, the Planning Committee, the Community Relations Committee, and the Equipment Committee as well as serving on the Pri- mary Care Liason, and WHEREAS, during his tenure, Dr. Hegarty, President of the Medical Staff from 1980 through 1981, was recognized as a conscientious, effective, and res- pected Trustee who unselfishly gave of his time, talents and energy to the growth and development of Lakewood Hospital and its Department of Neurosurgery, and WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by Dr. Hegarty be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends to William M. Hegarty, M.D. its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this com- munity for his almost four years of public service as a Trustee of Lakewood Hos- pital, and further that this Council wishes him continued years of health, happi- ness and prosperity in the future. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to William M.
