,g <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 5839-84 BYr Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br /> and Director of Finance to enter into a contract or contracts for <br /> the purchase of certain operating supplies or services, profession- <br /> al services, capital improvements. and replacement of equipment <br /> for the City of Lakewood as authorized by the 1984 Appropriation <br /> Ordinance. <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution con titutes an emergency measure in that <br /> it proaides for the immediate preservation of the public health, <br /> safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br /> department; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works and. the Director <br /> of Finance be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br /> a contract or contracts far the following operating supplies or <br /> services, professional services, capital improvements and replace- <br /> ment of equipment as authorized by the 1984 Appropriation Ordinance <br /> with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement <br /> by law: <br /> I. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> A. DIVISION OF .STREETS <br /> 1. Curb Replacement <br /> 2. Contractor Services for Concrete Work <br /> 3. Two (2) medium duty dump trucks <br /> 4. One (1) Street Sweeper <br /> 5. Materials for Street Repair <br /> 6. One (1) one-ton truck chassis. <br /> 7. Asphalt and/or services for street. resurfacing <br /> 8. Pavement planing <br /> 9. Two (2) 1/2 ton trucks <br /> B. DIVISION OF PARKING <br /> 1. Parking Meters <br /> 2. Ohe (1) passenger vehicle <br /> C. DIVISION OF WASTEWATER <br /> 1.
