RESOLUTION N0.5919-84 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Captain Gene N. McKee for his public service <br /> as a Firefighter of the City of Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective January 8, 1984, Captain Gene <br /> N. McKee will have completed 32 years three months of public service as a Fire- <br /> fighter of the City of Lakewood and as a Captin since November 28, 1971, and <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Fire Department, Captain <br /> McKee was recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding <br /> service not only to the Department of Public Safety, but to the entire <br /> community as well, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by <br /> Captain Gene N. McKee be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends to Captain <br /> Gene N. McKee its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this <br /> community for his 32 years three months of public service as a Firefighter of <br /> the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council wishes him continued years <br /> of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. <br /> Section 2.
