<br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5916-85 - BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION confiirming the order of the Board of Building Standards <br /> dated January 14, 1985, relative to property located at 12903 Plover Street, <br /> Lakewood, Ohio (Permanent Parcel No. 315-22-110) and notifying the property <br /> owner of the action to be taken by this municipality if compliance is not <br /> accomplished. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the decision of the Board of Building Standards dated <br /> January 14, 1985, relative to the property located at 12903 Plover Street, <br /> Lakewood, Ohio (Permanent Parcel No. 315-22-110) which reads as follows: <br /> The Board of Building Standards determined the structure <br /> located at 12903 Plover Street, Lakewood, Ohio to be an <br /> unsafe/public nuisance structure pursuant to the standards as <br /> set forth in Section 1305.521 of the Housing Code. The Board <br /> further finds that the property owners have failed to comply <br /> with a notice and order from the Building Department to <br /> demolish the structure, as set forth in Mr. David Conway's <br /> communication dated November 9, 1984 (a part of the evidence <br /> before the Board, a copy of which is attached hereto). <br /> The Board hereby orders the property owners, Gary S. and Dawn <br /> E. Clough, Dennis M. and Virginia Clough and, Neil T. Clough to <br /> demo)ish the structure forthwith for reasons as explained in <br /> the minutes of the meeting. Acceptable evidence of the <br /> commencement ofi demolition shall be the obtaining of the <br /> required permits from the City of Lakewood Building Department <br /> and executed contracts filed with the Building Department. <br /> Section 2. That by receipt of this Resolution, the property owners, Gary <br /> S. and Dawn E. Clough, Dennis M. and Virginia Clough, and Neil T. Clough are <br /> hereby notified to comply with the decision and order of the Board of Building <br /> Standards as confiirmed by this Council. The property owners, Gary S. and Dawn <br /> E. Clough, Dennis M. and Virginia Clough, and Neil T. Clough are further <br /> notified by receipt of this Resolution that if they fail, neglect or refuse <br /> within forty-five (45) days from the date of service of this Resolution to <br /> comply with the decision and order of the Board as confirmed by Council, the <br /> Building Commissioner is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids <br /> and to enter into a contract or contracts with the lowest and best bidder or <br /> bidders after advertisement according to law for the demolition of said <br /> structure, and the City acting through the Building Commissioner, shall cause <br /> said structure to be demolished in accordance with the decision and order of <br /> the Board as confirmed by City Council. <br /> Section 3. Thai' the Clerk of this Council is hereby authorized and <br /> directed to serve a certified copy of this Resolution to Gary S. and Dawn E. <br /> Clough, Dennis M. and Virginia Clough, Neil T. Clough, Fred W. Friend, and <br /> Anthony J.
