RESOLUTION N0. 5930-85 gy; Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling A RESOLUTION to commend Assistant Chief Donald W. Graham for his years of public service as a Firefighter of the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, Donald w. Graham was appointed to the Division of Fire, Depart- ment of Public Safety on November 1, 1960, was promoted to the rank of Captain on January 29, 1967, and to the rank of Assistant Chief on November 28, 1971, and WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Fire Department, Assistant Chief Graham was recognized as a loyal and dedicated firefighter who rendered out- standing service not only to the Department of Public Safety, but to the entire community as well, and WHEREAS, upon his retirement February 3, 1985, Assistant Chief Graham completed twenty-five years and three months of public service as a member of the Division of Fire, and WHEREAS, such dedication to duty and years of public service should be recognized in a proper and fitting manner; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends to Assistant Chief Donald W. Graham its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for his more than twenty five years of public service as a firefighter of the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council wishes him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Assistant Chief Donald W.
