<br /> RESOLUTION No. 6037-86 By: Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, <br /> Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION repealing Resolution. 6027-86 which objected to <br /> the transfer of C1 and C~2 liquor permits by applicant, Madison Rib <br /> House, Inc. to an establishment located at 15527 Madison Avenue, <br /> Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> WHEREAS, Madison Rib House, Inc. applied to the Department <br /> of Liquor Control, State pf Ohio, for the transfer of C1 and C2 liquor <br /> permits to the premises kpown as 15527 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, this Cbuncil did originally object to such transfer <br /> with the adoption of Resolution 6027-86 on February 3, 1986, and <br /> WHEREAS, inveskigation discloses that the place for which <br /> the permit is sought {gas been brought into conformance with the <br /> Building Code of the pity of Lakewood and committment has been <br /> received from the owners ~f Madison Rib House, Inc. that the premises <br /> will be kept as a carry-obit establishment without sit-down facilities, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, this ~iouncil now determines that it is in the best <br /> interest o£ the City to Withdraw its objection to the issuance of the <br /> aforementioned permits, a~7d <br /> WHEREAS, this r solution constitutes an emergency measure in <br /> that it provides for the ~mmediate preservation of the public health, <br /> safety and welfare; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED I~Y THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That this Council does hereby repeal Resolution <br /> 6027-86 adopted February 1986, objecting to the transfer of C1 and <br /> C2 liquor permits by pplicant Madison Rib House, Inc. to an <br /> establishment located at 5527 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> Section 2, That this Council designates the Law Department <br /> of the City of Lakewoodlto represent it and the City of Lakewood at <br /> the Department of Liquor Control in withdrawing its objection to said <br /> transfer, <br /> Section 3. It~ is found and determined that all formal <br /> actions of this Council c ncerning and relating to the passage of this <br /> resolution were adopted ir~ an open meeting of this Council, and that <br /> all such deliberations off this Council and of any of its committees <br /> that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the <br /> public, in compliance wijth all legal requirements including Section <br /> 121.22 of the Ohio Revised~Code. <br /> Section 4.
