y`"- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 6062-86 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION expressing the support of the Council of the <br /> <br /> City of Lakewood for the Thanksgiving Food Basket Project of the <br /> Lakewood Jaycees. <br /> WHEREAS, each year the Lakewood Jaycees, as one of its <br /> community service programs, sponsors a Thanksgiving Food Basket <br /> Project, and <br /> WHEREAS, in 1985 the Lakewood Jaycees helped feed 120 <br /> underprivileged families in the Lakewood community and is hoping to <br /> reach even more needy families through its 1986 project which begins <br /> on June 21st, and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to reach that goal and to meet the needs <br /> of all the hungry at Thanksgiving time, the efforts of the Jaycees <br /> should have the support of the entire Lakewood community, and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to express to the residents of <br /> the Lakewood community its recogition of this worthy cause and its <br /> wholehearted support of the Thanksgiving Food Basket Project of the <br /> Lakewood Jaycees; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood joins <br /> with the Lakewood Jaycees in support of the Thanksgiving Food Basket <br /> Project of the Lakewood Jaycees and strongly urges the entire Lakewood <br /> community to also support this much needed most worthy cause. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution <br /> to Ered I.
