~M RESOLUTION N0. 6102-86 gy; Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, Salmon, Wendling A RESOLUTION extending sincere appreciation to the West Shore Kiwanis Club of Lakewood for its generous gift to the City for the benefit of the the young children of the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, the City has received and accepted an unsolicited gift from the West Shore Kiwanis Club of Lakewood in the amount of $200.00 to be used by the Health Department of the City of Lakewood, and WHEREAS, said funds will be used by the Health Department for the purchase of 400' doses of Haemophilus Influenzae Type B (HIB) vaccine from the Ohio Department of Health for immunization of Lakewood children, and WHEREAS, this Council wishes to express to the West Shore Kiwanis Club of Lakewood its sincere appreciation for its thoughtful and generous gift and to thank this fine service organization for its expression of concern and support for the welfare of the citizens of this City, particulary the young children of our City; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council extends to the West Shore Kiwanis Club of Lakewood its sincere appreciation and thanks, and that of all of the citizens of this community, for its most thoughtful and generous gift to the City to be used for the benefit of the young children of Lakewood. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Edward G. Hack, President, West Shore Kiwanis Club of Lakewood, 14714 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, 44107, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
