W <br /> RESOLUTION No. 6114-87 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the payment of an incentive award <br /> in the amount of $100.Wg to City of Lakewood employee Christopher R. <br /> Dubbs. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 92-83 adopted March 19, 1984, <br /> the City established an Incentive Awards Program for all employees of <br /> the City of Lakewood including foreman, but excluding all other <br /> <br /> managerial staff, and <br /> WHEREAS, Christopher R. Dubbs, an employee of the Division <br /> of Parks, Department of Public Works, suggested and implemented an <br /> acceptable and improved substitute for a much more expensive <br /> fiberglass baffle which now more efficiently protects the other <br /> elements of the Foster Pool filtering system, and <br /> WHEREAS, the suggestion of Mr. Dubbs has resulted in <br /> substantial financial savings to the City of Lakewood which savings <br /> will continue into the future, and a monetary award has been <br /> recommended by the Incentive Awards Review Committee and approved by <br /> the Mayor, and <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency providing <br /> fox the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That this Council, pursuant to Ordinance 92-83 <br /> adopted March 19, 1984, hereby approves and authorizes a payment in <br /> the amount of $1WGJ.0g to City of Lakewood employee Christopher R. <br /> Dubbs through the Incentive Awards Program of the City and <br /> congratulates him for his significant contribution to the welfare of <br /> the City. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Finance is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to pay to Christopher R. Dubbs the sum of <br /> $1fdg.G1W and to charge same to the General Fund. <br /> Section 3.
