,..Y. RESOLUTION N0. 6115-87 gy; Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling RESOLUTION to commend Captain Ronald H. Hall fox his many years of public service as a Police Officer of the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, Ronald H. Hall, appointed to the Division of Police, Department of Public Safety on August 16, 1957, was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on January 27, 1968, to the rank of Lieutenant on June 1~, 1979, and to the rank of Captain on August 23, 1983, and WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Police Department, Captain Ha11 was recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service not only to the Department of Public Safety, but to the entire community as well, and WHEREAS, upon his retirement January 4, 1987, Captain Hall completed twenty nine years, four and one-half months of public service as a member of the Division of Police, and WHEREAS, such dedication to duty and years of devoted public service should be recognized in a proper and fitting manner; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CODNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends to Captain Ronald H. Hall its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for his more than twenty-nine years of public service as a Police Officer of the City of Lakewood and further that this Council wishes him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Captain Ronald H. Hall, 2154 Woodward Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, 441G17, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
