Theis for his public <br /> service as a patrolman in the City of Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement on July 31, 1986, Charles T. Theis, <br /> Patrolman Grade I completed 25 years of public service as a patrolman with <br /> the City of Lakewood, and <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Police Department, <br /> Patrolman Theis was recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered <br /> outstanding service, not only to the Department of Public Safety, but to the <br /> entire community, as well, and <br /> WHEREAS it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered <br /> by Patrolman Charles T. Theis be given public cognizance and recognition; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE I7 RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to Patrolman Charles T. Theis <br /> its appreciation and that of all the citizens of this community for his 25 <br /> years of public service as a Patrolman of the City of Lakewood, and further <br /> that this Council wishes him continued health, happiness and prosperity in <br /> his retirement. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be, and she is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to <br /> Patrolman Charles T.
