RESOLUTION N0. 6760-87 BY: Chinnockr Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION extending sincere appreciation to The Rotary <br /> Club of Lakewood, Ohio, for its generous gift to the City of Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, The Rotary Club of Lakewood, Ohio, approved and has <br /> awarded to the City of Lakewood a gift in the amount of $2GIG1, and <br /> WHEREAS, said funds were donated to the City to be used by <br /> The Lakewood United States Constitution/Centennial Commission to <br /> create an awareness of the bicentennial celebration of the signing of <br /> the U.S. Constitution and to purchase educational materials relating <br /> to such signing, and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council wishes to express to The Rotary Club <br /> of Lakewood, Ohio, its sincere appreciation for its generous gift and <br /> to thank Lakewood Rotary for its continued support of civic endeavors; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to The Rotary Club of <br /> Lakewood, Ohio, its sincere appreciation and thanks, and that of all <br /> of the citizens of this community for its generous gift to the City of <br /> Lakewood and for its continued support of civic endeavors and <br /> community activities. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution <br /> to C.
