RESOLUTION NO. 6166-87 BY:Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling A RESOLUTION extending sincere appreciation to Jill Beth Salmon, for her reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America at the Lakewood City Council Meeting held July 6, 1987. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has formally expressed its intent to participate in the Bicentennial Celebration of the Northwest Ordinance and the United States Constitution, and WHEREAS, as a part of that participation, at each regularly scheduled meeting of this Council for the balance of the year 1987 a member of the Lakewood community is invited to read aloud the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America, and WHEREAS, Jill Beth Salmon, a third grade student at St. Clement's School and daughter of Ward Two Councilman John G. Salmon, graciously accepted Council's invitation to read aloud the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States at the Council Meeting held July 6, 1987, for which Council wishes to express its appreciation; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council extends to Jill Beth Salmon, its sincere appreciation and thanks, and that of all of the citizens of the Lakewood community, for her reading aloud the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America at the Lakewood City Council meeting held July 6, 1987. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Jill Beth Salmon, 2U7U Belle Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, 44187, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
