<br /> RESOLUTION NO. 6175'$7 By; Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br /> Mayor, for and on behalf of the City of Lakewood, to enter into <br /> a contract with Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners covering <br /> Social Services, Transportation and Nutrition, such contract <br /> providing partial funding for supplemental funds under Title <br /> IIIB and IIIC of the 1965 Older Americans Act. <br /> WHEREAS, the Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners is <br /> administering a program of grants from the Federal Government, <br /> under Title IIIB and IIIC of the 1965 Older Americans Act, <br /> whereby this City may obtain monies to provide Programs for <br /> persons 60 years of age or older, and <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency <br /> measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br /> health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that <br /> these funds can be obtained at the present time; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br /> STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, for and on behalf of the <br /> City of Lakewood, be and he is hereby authorized and directed <br /> to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga County Board of <br /> Commissioners, providing partial funding of the City's Program <br /> under Title IIIB and IIIC of the 1965 Older Americans Act. <br /> Section 2.
