<br /> RESOLUTION N0. 6186-87 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, Salmon, Wendting <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Kittie Saracusa far her meritorious act that <br /> resulted in the saving of a life. <br /> WHEREAS, on July 22, 1987, an adult male was swimming at Lakewood <br /> Park's Foster Pool when he became disabled and nearly drowned, and <br /> WHEREAS, Kittie Saracusa immediately responded to the emergency <br /> situation and applied cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the near-drowning <br /> victim, and <br /> WHEREAS, such spontaneous action in a stressful situation saved the <br /> life of a swimmer, and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council believes it appropriate to commend the <br /> courageous actions of citizens willing to become involved; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to Kittie Saracusa its appreciation <br /> and that of all of the citizens of this community for her courageous actions. <br /> Section 2.
