<br /> RESOLUTION N0. 6188-87 BY: Brown, Chinnack, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, Salmon, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Scott Glass for his meritorious act that <br /> <br /> resulted in the saving of a life. <br /> WHEREAS, on July 22, 1987, an adult male was swimming at Lakewood <br /> <br /> Park's Foster Pool when he became disabled and nearly drowned, and <br /> WHEREAS, Scott Glass acted in a swift and decisive manner in a teamwork <br /> <br /> effort to bring the near-drowning victim to safety, and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council believes it appropriate to commend <br /> <br /> outstanding individual and teamwork efforts by those involved in public <br /> service; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to Scott Glass its appreciation <br /> and that of all of the citizens of this community for his courageous actions. <br /> Section 2.
