RESOLUTION N0. 6210-87 By: Brown, Chinnock, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling A RESOLUTION extending sincere appreciation to Councilman- elect Anthony J. Gazzana, for his reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America at the Lakewood City Council Meeting held November 16, 1987. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has formally expressed its intent to participate in the Bicentennial Celebration of the Northwest Ordinance and the United States Constitution, and WHEREAS, as a part of that participation, at each regularly scheduled meeting of this Council for the balance of the year 1987 a member of the Lakewood community is invited to read aloud the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America, and WHEREAS, Anthony J. Gazzana, current chairman of the City Planning Commission and Councilman-elect of Ward I in the City of Lakewood, graciously volunteered to read aloud the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States at the Council Meeting held November 16, 1987, for which Council wishes to express its appreciation; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council extends to Councilman-elect Anthony J. Gazzana, its sincere appreciation and thanks, and that of all of the citizens of the Lakewood community, for his reading aloud the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America at the Lakewood City Council meeting held November 16, 1987. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Anthony J. Gazzana, 1477 West Clifton Boulevard, Lakewood, Ohio, 4417, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
