PLEASE SUBSTI" -E FOR RESOLUTION #62T4A-87 SUBMITTED WIT'-fHE DECEMBER 7, 1987 DOCKET RESOLUTION N0. 6214A-87 BY: Brown, CRinnock, Gallagher, Gazzana, George, Graham, Wendling AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Finance to pay the cost of memberships of municipal employees and/or Departments and Divisions in certain associations for the year 1988, and declaring such memberships to be in the public interest. WHEREAS, memberships of municipal employees in organizations are designed to enhance the operation of municipal departments by the exchange of ideas, information and experience to the public benefit, and WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety, and for the usual dairy operation of municipal departments; BE IT RESfl LVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1.
