RESOLUTION No: 6215-87 By;.Brown, Chinnock, Graham, McBride, <br /> Salmon, Wendling <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor <br /> to enter into an agreement with and to administer and budget the <br /> Emergency Shelter Grant Program from the U. S. Department of Housing & <br /> Urban Development and the Ohio Department of Development. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has received an Emergency <br /> Shelter Grant from the U. S. Aepartment of Housing & Urban Development <br /> in the amount of $28,000 and an allocation of the State of Ohio's <br /> Emergency Shelter Grant in the amount of $11,200; and <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br /> providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety <br /> and welfare and for the further reason that the funds are available. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> of oxzo: <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, on behalf of the City of <br /> Lakewood, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an <br /> agreement with and to budget and administer all grants received from <br /> the U. S. Department of Housing & Urban Development and the Ohio <br /> Department of Development. <br /> Section 2.
