a- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 6226-88 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Gazzana, George, Graham, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend WarrenG Day for his public service <br /> as a Firefighter of the City of Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement December 31, 1987, Warren G. <br /> Day completed thirty-seven years, five months o£ public service as a <br /> Firefighter of the City of Lakewood, serving as Electrician/Mechanic <br /> since August 8, 1982, and <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Fire <br /> Department, Firefighter Day was recognized as a loyal and dedicated <br /> employee who rendered outstanding service not only to the Department <br /> of Public Safety, but to the entire community as well, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service <br /> rendered by Firefighter Day be given public cognizance and <br /> recognition; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends <br /> to Firefighter Warren G. Day its appreciation and that of all of the <br /> citizens of this community for his more than thirty-seven years of <br /> public service as a Eixefighter of the City of Lakewood, and further <br /> that this Council wishes him continued years of health, happiness and <br /> prosperity in his retirement. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution <br /> to Firefighter Warren G.
