<br /> A RESOLUTION extending congratulations to Michael Bobal on
<br /> attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
<br /> WHEREAS, Michael Bobal, a member of Boy Scouts of America,
<br /> Troup 11287, sponsored by St. James Catholic Church, entered the scouting
<br /> program on January 20, 1982 as a Tenderfoot Scout, became a Second Class
<br /> Scout on June 1, 1982, a First Class Scout on August 10, 1982, a Star
<br /> Scout on January 10, 1983, a Life Scout on October 10, 1983 and attained
<br /> the highest rank in scouting, that of Eagle Scout on September 20, 1987,
<br /> and
<br /> WHEREAS,. to accomplish this feat, Eagle Scout Bobal, a senior
<br /> at St. Ignatius High School, earned a total of 26 Merit Badges, five
<br /> more than the minimum. required number, and
<br /> WHEREAS, as his required school service project, Michael
<br /> initiated the construction and organized the financing of a Memorial
<br /> situated at the St.. Ignatius. Football Field in honor of a deceased
<br /> classmate, which truly exemplifies his outstanding leadership ability, and
<br /> WHEREAS, this Council wishes to join with his family and many
<br /> friends and acquaintances in congratulating Eagle Scout Michael Bobal
<br /> on this most noteworthy occasion of receiving the Eagle Scout award, now
<br /> therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF
<br /> OHIO:
<br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to Michael Bobal its
<br /> congratulations, and that of all of the citizens. of this community, on
<br /> his attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, Troup 11287, sponsored by St. James
<br /> Catholic Church, and wishes him continued happy, rewarding years in
<br /> scouting,
<br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby
<br /> authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to
<br />
<br /> Pir. Michael Bobal, 1543 Northland Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107 and that
<br /> a copy of this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
