a <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 6302-88 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Gazzana, George, Graham <br /> A RESOLUTION in memory of Reverend John A. Brady, chaplain <br /> emeritus of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine in Lakwood. <br /> WHEREAS, Rev. John A. Brady was ordained on June 1, 1912, <br /> after completing his studies and earning a doctorate in Theology at <br /> the North American College in Rome, and <br /> WHEREAS, Rev. Brady was named chaplain for the Lakewood <br /> Sisters of Charity in 1922 and served faithfully in that capacity <br /> until 1969 when he moved to St. Augustine in Lakewood where he served <br /> the community and its residents conscientiously until his passing, and <br /> WHEREA5, during his sixty-six years of service to the <br /> community, Fr. Brady was recognized as a respected, faithful and <br /> distinguished priest who cared deeply for this community and its <br /> residents, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the outstanding <br /> service rendered by Rev. John A. Brady be given public cognizance and <br /> recognition; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That this Council, in memory of Rev. Johri A. <br /> Brady, extends its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of <br /> this community for his many years of distinguished service to the <br /> Lakewood community, and further that this Council expresses great <br /> sorrow at his passing. <br /> Section 2.
