Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br /> George, Graham., Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION commending the Lakewood Charitable <br /> <br /> Assistance Corp. in the distribution of holiday food baskets to <br /> one hundred and seventy-five families. <br /> WHEREAS, there continues to be a growing need for <br /> <br /> distribution of holiday food baskets in Lakewood for the <br /> Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, in particular, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Charitable Assistance Corp, was formed in <br /> conjunction with the Lakewood Jaycees and Kiwanis, July of 1988, <br /> to concentrate on raising donations for poor families in <br /> Lakewood, and <br /> WHEREAS, this sensitivity and dedication to poverty <br /> research and food distribution has brought results worthy of the <br /> pride and recognition in and by this community to the Lakewood <br /> Charitable Assistance Corp; now therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITX OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OE OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That this Council for, and on behalf of the <br /> residents of the City of Lakewood, hereby commends the Lakewood <br /> <br /> Charitable Assistance Corp. for its wholehearted efforts <br /> resulting in the success o£ holiday food basket distribution. <br /> Section 2.
