RESOLUTION NO. 6371-89 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Gazzana, George, Graham, Wendling AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION extending the time for action by the Planning Commission pursuant to Article XV, Section 4 of the amended Charter of the City of Lakewood on Ordinance #13-89. WHEREAS, Ordinance ~13-89 was referred to the Planning Commission on March 20, 1989 and it is in the public interest that the Commission have additional time for review and consideration of the proposed ordinance and, WHEREAS, this resolutionconstitutes an emergency measure providing for the public health, safety and welfare: NOW, STATE OF OHIO: THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, Section 1. That pursuant to Article XV, Section 4 of the amended Charter of the City of Lakewood the period for review by the Planning Commission of Ordinance #13-89, referred by City Council on March 20, 1989, is and hereby shall be extended until July 19, 1989. Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ,resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in such formal actions were meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor: otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law.
