RESOLUTION NO. 6373-89 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Gazzana, George, Graham, Wendlin A RESOLUTION commending Lakewood Crime Prevention Officer, Edward Patrick, for his selection as Honorable Mention, 1989 Outsta'nding Crime Prevention Practioner Award and Honorary Membership in the Ohio Crime Prevention Association. WHEREAS, Edward Patrick had been a member of the Lakewood Police Department for over 27 years and has served as Crime Prevention Officer for the City of Lakewood since 1982, and WHEREAS, Edward Patrick has had a distinguished law enforcement career for over 35 years, including the Narcotics, Burglary and Juvenile Bureau, Westshore Enforcement Bureau, as well as the Lakewood Crime Prevention Unit, and WHEREAS, Edward Patrick has been an outstanding member of the, Lakewood Police Department and distinguished public servant during his entire career and this Council and the Mayor wish to commend him upon achieving the high honor of selection as Honorable Mention for the 1989 Outstanding Crime Prevention Practioner Award and as an Honorary Member of the Ohio Crime Prevention Association; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor extend to Edward Patrick their heartiest congratulations for themselves and all of the citizens of Lakewood on his selection as Honorable Mention 1989 Outstanding Crime Prevention Practioner and selection as an Honorary Member of the Ohio Crime Prevention Assocation as well as their thanks for his outstanding and dedicated service to our community. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Edward Patrick, 1549 Marview Avenue, Westlake, Ohio and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
