RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6379-89 <br /> <br />BY: Gallagher, Gazzana, George, <br /> Graham, Wendling <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the payment of an incentive award in the <br />amount of $100.00 to City of Lakewood employee Alex Bruchac. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 92-83 adopted March 19, 1984, the <br />City established an Incentive AwardS Program for all employees of the City of <br />Lakewood including foreman, but excluding all other managerial staff, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Alex Bruchac, an employee of the Division of Streets, <br />Department of Public Works, suggested and implemented an acceptable and <br />improved substitute for a more expensive mounting device used to mount "No <br />Turn on Red" signs on mast arm style traffic signal poles and similar rigid <br />arm poles. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the suggestion of Mr. Bruchac has resulted in financial <br />savings to the City of Lakewood which savings will continue into the future, <br />and a monetary award has been recommended by the Incentive Awards Review <br />Committee and approved by the Mayor~_ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency providing for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council, pursuant to Ordinance 92-83 adopted <br />March 19, 1984, hereby approves and authorizes a payment in the amount of <br />$100.00 to City of Lakewood employee Alex Bruchac through the Incentive <br />Awards Program of the City and congratulates him for his significant <br />contribution to the welfare of the City. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized and <br />'directed to pay to Alex Bruchac the sum of $100.00 and to charge same to the <br />General Fund. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force <br />after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />Approved~fy~ ~L_O, /~J(' ~ <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br />~4AYOR Y ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
