RESOLUTION ,NO. <br /> <br />6389-89 <br /> <br />BY, Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br />Gazzana, George, Graham, Wendling <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor to submit <br />an application for the purpose of acquiring funds for the litter <br />prevention and recycling program and enter into an agreement with <br />and to administer and budget Litter Prevention and Recycling <br />Grants from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Office of <br />Litter Prevention & Recycling. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, litter is <br />blighting conditions, and <br /> <br />unsightly, <br /> <br />unsanitary and creates <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lakewood City Council recognizes the existence <br />of a litter problem within the boundaries of the City of Lakewood <br />and the need to address the programs; and <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEW. OoD, STATE OF OHIO, <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, on behalf of the City of <br />Lakewood, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to submit <br />and enter into an agreement with and to budget and administer all <br />grants received from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, <br />Division of Litter Prevention and Recycling allocated from the <br />Litter Control Act of 1980. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of <br />this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, <br />and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings <br />open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Approved~ <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
