RESOLUTION NO. 6399-89 By: <br /> <br />Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br />George, Graham, Wendling <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Sergeant Vincent Kremp erger for his <br />outstanding performance in the investigation of the Ethel May Durkin case. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the investigation of this case required great perseverance <br />over the course of 19 months, in order to discover the long hidden truth. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the investigation required that he deduce the truth from <br />facts and events that had occurred as long as five years earlier. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the investigation of such facts required close cooperation <br />with multiple jurisdictions and agencies and spanned three states. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in spite of the aforementioned seemingly insurmountable <br />obstacles, the investigation resulted in a conviction of murder, now <br />therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor and this Council, on behalf of the <br />citizens of the City of Lakewood whom they serve, express their appreciation <br />to Sergeant Vincent Kremperger for the aggressive and professional manner in <br />which he pursued the investigation. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be, and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to <br />Sergeant Vincent Kremperger, 3020 West 101st Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44111, <br />and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br /> <br />
