Most of you are here because <br />you are interested in a variance that has been requested from this Board. <br /> <br />An application for a variance is a'request to be permitted to do something <br />which is otherwise prohibited. The person requesting the variance is <br />seeking teller from the strict application of the law. The applicant has <br />the burden of demonstrating a good and valid reason why the law which <br />ordinarily governs everyone equally should not be applied in a particular <br />situation. <br /> <br /> <br />
