RESOLUTION NO. 6~23-90 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, <br />Gazzana, George, Graham, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to appoint James R. Vine, as a member of the <br />Governing Board of Lakewood Hospital Association for the full five <br />year term ending December 31, 1995. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Article IX, Section 9.3, Paragraph (j)(ii)(3) of <br />the Charter of the Lease by and between the City of Lakewood and the <br />Lakewood Hospital Association executed March 10, 1987, provides for <br />appointment of certain members of the Governing Board of the Lakewood <br />Hospital Association as representatives of community organizations, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Pursuant to Article IX, Section 9.3(j)(ii)(3) of <br />the Lease betweem the City of Lakewood, Ohio, and Lakewood Hospital <br />Association concerning Lakewood Hospital executed March 10, 1987, <br />Council hereby appoints James R. Vine, representative of a community <br />organization as a member of the Governing Board of Lakewood Hospital <br />Association for the full five year term ending December 31, 1995. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this <br />resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that <br />all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees <br />that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the <br />public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof: and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take <br />effect and be in force after the <br /> <br />Approved <br /> <br />earliest~Deriod allow~e~, y//law.'
