RESOLUTION NO. 6550-91 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, George, Graham, Roth, Smith A RESOLUTION to commend Captain Raymond E. Conaway for his public service as a member of the Division of Fire in the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective December 31, 1990, he has completed more than 27 years of public service with the Division of Fire, City of Lakewood; and WHEREAS, Captain Conaway rose to the rank of Captain in the Division of Fire, the position he held for the past 16 years, serving also as Assistant Chief for one year during a time when the department was short handed; and WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Division of Fire, Captain Conaway has been recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service, not only to the Department of Public Safety, but to the entire community as well; and WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper service rendered by Captain Conaway be given and recognition; now, therefore, that the public public cognizance BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1. That this Council and the Mayor of the City of Lakewood extend to Captain Raymond E. Conaway its appreciation and that of all the citizens of this community for his more than 27 years of public service as an employee in the Division of Fire of the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. SECTION 2. That the Clerk of Council be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Captain Raymond E.
