RESOLUTION NO. 6552-91 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, George, Graham, Roth, Smith A RESOLUTION to commend Sergeant Kenneth Houck for his public service as a police officer in the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective January 12, 1991, has completed 22 years of public service as a police officer with the Division of Police, City of Lakewood; and WHEREAS, Sergeant Houck is recognized as a valuable member of the division's Detective Bureau and has in the course of his service participated in many major investigations, most recently the Dennis Dussal case which has resulted in long overdue investigation of the State Parole Baord; and WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Division of Police, Sergeant Houck has been recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service, not only to the Department of Public Safety, but to the entire community as well; and WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by Sergeant Houck be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor of the City of Lakewood extend to Sergeant Kenneth Houck its appreciation and that of all the citizens of this community for his more than 22 years of public service as a police officer in the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Kenneth Houck, 2060 Lakeland Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107, and that a copy of this Resolu' upon the ~minutes of this meeting.
