RESOLUTION NO. 6569-91 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gazzana, George, <br /> Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor <br />to enter into an agreement with and to adminibter and budget the <br />Emergency Shelter Grant Program from the U. S. Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has received an Emergency <br />Shelter Grant from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Develop- <br />ment in the amount of $41,000 and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and for the further reason that the funds are available. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE'CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, on behalf of the City of Lake- <br />wood, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an <br />agreement with and to budget and administer all grants received from <br />the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and b~n force immediately <br />upon its adoption and apprOval by the <br /> <br />Approved: }~6%4_ ~ / ~ /~ ~./ <br /> <br /> <br />
