BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEW~D, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, reaffirm <br />its support for LIHEAP as a critically needed, long-term Federal <br />program and urges the United States Congress to appropriate <br />LIHEAP funding of at least $1.7 billion in FY 1992, and oppose <br />any attempts to phase out the program; and <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward certified copies of <br />this Resolution to Representatives Edward F.'Feighan and Mary <br />Rose Oakar, Senators John Glenn and Howard Metzenbaum, and that <br />a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
