RESOLUTION NO. 6600-91 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, Graham, Roth, Smith A RESOLUTION authorizing the payment of an incentive award in the amount of $100.00 to City of Lakewood employee Kevin P. Galvin. WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 92-83 adopted March 19, 1984, the City established an Incentive Awards Program for all employees of the City of Lakewood including foreman, but excluding all other managerial staff; and WHEREAS, Kevin P. Galvin, an employee of the Division of Police, Department of Public Safety, has suggested a cost saving method of purchasing supplies; and WHEREAS, the suggestion of Mr. Galvin will result in savings approximating $500 per year to the City of Lakewood and a monetary award has been recommended by the .Incentive Awards Committee and approved by the Mayor; and WHEREAS, this resolution providing for the usual daily department; now, therefore, constitutes an emergency operation of a municipal BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, pursuant to Ordinance 92-83 adopted March 19, 1984, hereby approve and authorize a payment in the amount of $100.00 to City of Lakewood employee Kevin P. Galvin through the Incentive Awards Program of the City and congratulate him for his significant contribution to the welfare of the City. Section 2. That the Director of Finance authorized and directed to pay to Kevin P. Galvin $100.00 and to charge same to the General Fund. is hereby the sum of Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adopt~_and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall .~ke _eff~qt .~ a~ ~ in force after the earliest period allowed ~ __~~/!.?
