RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6603-91 <br /> <br /> BY: Bosnia, Gallagher, <br />Gazzana, George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> A <br />for being <br />pageant. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION to congratulate Robin Bobal of Lakewood <br />named Miss Ohio American Coed at the annual state <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Miss Ohio American Coed Pageant emphasizes <br />the importance of physical fitness, mental alertness, <br />self-confidence and rewards young women for their contribution to <br />their community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Robin won the talent and academic achievement <br />portion of the competition and placed third in the speech <br />category and finished in the top five in the volunteer services <br />portion of the pageant; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, for winning the pageant, Robin received a $500 <br />cash scholarship, her official crown, banner, flowers and a trip <br />to Hawaii in August to represent Ohio and Lakewood · in the <br />National Miss American Coed Pageant where cash awards and college <br />scholarships will be awarded; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the <br />accomplishments of Robin Bobal be given public cognizance and <br />recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO; <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, extend to <br />Robin Bobal its congratulations as do all the citizens of this <br />community, and further that this Council and Mayor wish her the <br />best of luck in the national competition and any other of her <br />future endeavors. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Resolution to Miss Robin Bobal, 1543 Northland Avenue, <br />Lakewood, Ohio 44107, and that a copy of this Resolution be <br />spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />MAYOR~ <br /> <br /> <br />
