PLACED ON 1ST READ & REFERRED to <br /> FINANCE CMTE 7/15/91. <br />PLACED .ON SECOND READING 9/3/91. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO: <br /> <br />6611-91 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br /> George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract for the purchase of one (1) yard <br />waste tub grinder. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS', the member cities of the West Shore Council of Govern- <br />ments (WSCOG) has advertised and received bids in a manner according to <br />law, <br /> wHE'REAS, the cost of processing and disposing -of yard .wastes <br />through outside agencies continues to rise, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it will be cost effective for the City of Lakewood to <br />process and dispose of yard wastes with the other member cities of the <br />WSCOG, now, therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be authorized, and' <br />is hereby directed to enter into a contract for the purchase of one (1) <br />yard waste tub grinder. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions <br />of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this Resolution <br />were adopted in' an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliber- <br />ations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such <br />formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all <br />legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and <br />provided it receives~ the affirmative vote. of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br /> <br />its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> Clerk <br /> · ' Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
