RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6618-91 BY: <br /> <br />Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br />George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Lakewood resident and St. <br />· Edward High School sophomore Michael Graham for placing in <br /> the 1991 Cuyahoga County Fair craft exhibit. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Michael's entry was one of many featured <br />in the "any other craft" category during the craft exhibit <br />at the Berea Fairgrounds at the Cuyahoga County Fair by the <br />Cudell Arts and Crafts Center, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, his prize-winning untitled work <br />displayed his ability in the colored pencil medium capturing <br />the texture of medal in a drawing of a scale, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, since he was twelve and thirteen years <br />old it was his "here and there" scheduling of art classes <br />that led to the opportunity for the landing of one of his <br />works at an exhibit garnering a prize, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council and Administration wish to <br />extend to Michael Graham in a proper and fitting manner <br />their commendation on his artistic ability award which <br />brings great pride not only to himself but the entire <br />community by representing Lakewood county -wide; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY' THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to Michael <br />Graham its commendation on his being the recipient of an <br />artistic ability award in the "any other craft" category <br />for his medal texture graphic drawing of a weigh scale <br />displayed at the Cuyahoga County Fair. <br /> <br />'Adopted:j~. ~/ /~/ <br /> <br /> Section 2.
