RESOLUTION NO. 6 6 31 - 91 BY: <br /> <br />Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br />George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION extending the City's appreciation to the Lakewood/Rocky <br />River Rotary Club for their outstanding fundraising effort for the Lakewood Bandstand <br />renovation project. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lakewood/Rocky River Rotary Club graciously and <br />enthusiastically committed their club's time and energy to insure the completion of the <br />Bandstand renovation project, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lakewood/ROcky River Rotary set a goal of $60,000 to assist <br />the City with the cost of the bandshell renovation, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, through sales of engraved bricks, cornerstones, and keystones <br />Lakewood/Rocky River Rotary Club in cooperation with the City reached their $60,000 <br />goal, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lakewood/Rocky River Rotary motto "service above self" has <br />been demonstrated by their unselfish giving of time and energy to the success of their Brick <br />Promenade fundraising effort, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Rotary Brick Promenade fundraising effort has created a place <br />for our residents and neighbors to become a part of Lakewood history; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> · BE IT RESOLVED BY THE cOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That' this Council extends to the Lakew°od/Rocky River Rotary Club <br />its .congratulations, .and that of all of the citizens ofthe Lakewood community, for its <br />outstanding fundraising achievements for the Lakewood Bandstand renovation project. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of COuncil be, and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified cOpy of this Resolution to Larry Faulha. belW, President of the <br />Lakewood/Rocky River Rotary Club, 1486 Par, k, wtyod.
