George, Graham, Roth, Smith A RESOLUTION to commend John Ivancak for his public service as a member of the Department of Public Works in the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective August 30, 1991, he has completed more than 36 years of public service with the Department of Public Works,' City of Lakewood; and WHEREAS, John~Ivancak is responsible for a folder full of thank-you notes and letters of appreciation from the citizens of Lakewood; and WHEREAS, John has.~ served the City in a variety of capacities from laborer to.foreman and Johnny was commonly known as the expert on all sub-surface public facilities; and WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Division of Public Works, John Ivancak has been recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service, not only to the Department of Public Works, but to the entire community as well; and ~ WHEREAS, it is fitting service rendered by John Ivancak recognition; now, therefore, and proper that~the public be given public cognizance and BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1'. That thisCouncil and the Mayor, hereby extend to John Ivancak, its commendation, and that of all the citizens of the LakewoOd Community for his more than 36 years of public service as an employee in the Division of Public Works of the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his.retirement. Section 2.
