RESOLUTION NO. 6636-91 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, George, Graham, Roth, Smith A RESOLUTION to commend Walter Wielkiewicz for his public service as a member of the Department of Public Works in the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective August 30, 1991, he has completed more than 28 years of public service with the Department of Public Works, 'City of Lakewood; and WHEREAS, Walter began hes service to .the City in the Division of Refuse where he has worked as a carrier, an incinerator operator and'a utility man before being promoted to Foreman; Walter became Assistant Superintendent in Refuse in 1988; and WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Department of Public Works, Walter Wi~lkiewicz has been recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service, not only to the~ Department of PUblic Works, but to the entire community as well; and WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the service rendered by Walter Wielkiewicz be given cognizance; now, therefore, public public BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, hereby extend to Walter Wielkiewicz, its commendation, and that of all the citizens of the Lakewood Community for his' more than 28 years of public service as an employee in the Department of Public Works of the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Walter Wielkiewicz, 1544 L~n~m~tnt,~kewood, he CLERK Ohio 44107, and that a copy of this minutes of-the meeting.
