RESOLUTION NO. 6649-91 .BY: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana George, Graham, Roth, Smit A RESOLUTION to commend public service as a member of the the City of Lakewood. Lawrence Marshall for his Department of Public Works.in WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective August 30, 1991, Larry has completed more than 30 years of public service with the Department of Public Works; and WHEREAS, Larry has served the city in a variety of capacities from plant.. attendant to Superintendent of the Waste Water Treatment Plant and finally 'as· Assistant Director of Public Works in charge of utilities; and WHEREAS, Larry proved' invaluable during his time at the Waste Water Treatment Plant in that Lakewood now has an upgraded, model facility; and WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Public Works Department, Larry. has been recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service, not only to the Department of public Works, but to the entire community as well; and WHEREAS, it is fitting and. proper that the public service rendered by Larry Marshall be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ~CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1, That this council and the Mayor, hereby extend to Lawrence Marshall its commendation, and that of all the citizens of the Lakewo°d Community.for his-more'than 25 years of public service as an employee in ~the Department of Public Works of the City of Lakewood, ~and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. Section 2.
