RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6673-91 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Gallagher, Gazzana, George, <br />Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to honor and recognize members Of the Lakewood Bill <br />of Rights Bicentennial Committee. for t'hei~ services to the community. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood was invited to be a Bicentennial <br />Bill of Rights City in the.spring of 1991., and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, we were pleased and honored to be involved in the <br />recognition of the 200th Anniversary of the Bill of Rights, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, serVed as a member of the. Bill of <br />'Rights Committee and assisted in the planni.ng- and development of a <br /> variety of Bill of Rights events, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the objective of the Committee Was to create a keener <br />awareness and a deeper appreciation and understanding.of the Bill of <br />Rights and the freedoms they 'guarantee; .now therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor extends to <br />its appreciation for the commitment to' creating a better undersSanding <br />and greater appreciation for the Bill of Rights. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
