Graham for his public service as a Councilman of Ward 3 of the City of Lakewood. WKEREAS, Edward M. Graham was elected to the office of Council for Ward 3 of the City of Lakewood for the term c0mmencinq January 1, 1980 and serves continuously in that capacity until December 3i, 1991, and WHEREAS, Mr. Graham ably and with unique distinction served this Council and our community as President of Council for the years of i988 and 1989 in addition to serving as Council's representative on the Lakewood Hospital Association,s Board of Trustees in 1987, and WHEREAS, Ed Graham.effectively served our community with numerous legislative aCcomplishments, and WHEREAS, during his eleven year tenure as Councilman, Mr. Graham was recognized as a conscientious, effective and respected legislator, working diligently and ektensively for the promotion, progress and betterment of the City of Lakewood and all of its residents~ and WHEREAS, it i~ fitting and proper that the outstanding public service rendered by Edward M. Graham as a Lakewood Councilman be given public cognizance; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CiTY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Sectio~ 1. That this Council and the Mayor extend their appreciation and that bf all of the citizens of this community for this eleven years Of distinguished public service as a Councilman of Ward 3 of theiCity of Lake~ood and further that this Council wishes him continued, years Of success, health, happiness and prosperity in the days and years ahead.
